An exciting journey into the past

The Norwegian Road Museum is located in a multi-purpose recreational area at the gateway into "the King of Valleys", Gudbrandsdalen.

The museum consists of an extensive indoor exhibition, as well as a 75-acre open-air museum featuring buildings, road systems, bridges, road building equipment and machines. Here you will experience both nature and road technology in pleasant combination.

The museum is open all year round, and admission is free.
